Week one

Hey everybody,

Hope everyones week went well. For my goals in particular, it was a strong week. I only had one quiz this week, where I was happy with my grade. Because the lack of exams, I studied a lot of the information for every one of my classes. This way I was able to catch up and build a stronger foundation of what I was learning about for each class, so come test time, I am good to go. Lets hope it works out though, because this week, I got a BIG week of exams. An exam in each of my two most demanding subjects and a paper due in another. I think with my study habits will benefit me for this upcoming week.

The other behavioral goal to help me accomplish my goal of a 4.0 is my sleeping habits. This week was a good one for me in this area. I didnt take any mid afternoon catnaps, which have helped me go to bed earlier (midnight) after studying. This has helped me get up earlier and be more productive. I already feel the changes happening, hopefully it will translate in my grades!

Hey guys,

Sorry I was a little late on all of this, oops! I have figured out what my goals are for this semester and for all of you to be updated on.

My overall wellness goal is enhance my intellectual and emotional wellness levels by obtaining 4.0 gpa. I plan on reaching this goal by my behavioral goals below.

1. To study 30 minutes for each subject I have every weekday night, (on top of regular homework)
2. change my sleeping habits so I can study more during the day.

With these behavioral goals, I think that I can achieve my goal for this semester.

Hello Everyone,

My Name is Bob Wassell, and this is my Blog for achieving High Level Wellness. I titled my blog "Esse Quam Videri; Obtaining HLW while being me" because I personally think that the best way for me to achieve HLW (high level wellness) is to do it in a way that's original and personal to myself aka not doing anything that I would go against and think it is not best for me personally. Esse Quam Videri is latin for "to be rather than to seem to be". This was my high school's "slogan" and I have lived by it ever since because it has made me happy and feel comfortable with myself.

During these next few months I will be posting time to time (around once a week) about how I am striving to achieve my high level wellness. I will focus on all levels of the "wellness paradigm"; physical, emotional, mental and spiritual. I hope you enjoy it!

Bob
